Product OverviewThe CyberPower PDU41002, an 8-outlet (front), 1U rackmount switched power distribution unit (PDU), provides 120V 20A output. It distributes power to 8 NEMA 5-20R receptacles from a single NEMA 5-20 or L5-20 (with adaptor) plug with unfiltered electrical pass-through. The switched outlet receptacles can be managed individually or collectively over the network, using the CyberPower Management Console, a web browser, and the RJ45 Ethernet port for network connection, or locally by using the LCD controls. Outlets can be turned on, turned off, or recycled on demand or at programmed times to address a number of needs including remote rebooting of locked equipment, load shedding, power sequencing, and locking out unauthorized loads. The PDU41002 comes with a three-year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship in the product under normal use and conditions within three years of the purchase date.Power DistributionDelivers AC power to servers, equipment, and connected devices via a power distribution unit.Switch-Free DesignSafeguards against accidental power shutdown.Switchable OutletsProvides local and remote control for individual and multiple outlets. Local control: turn on/turn off outlets and disable unused outlets. Remote control: restart outlets and devices, turn on/turn off, schedule power on/off sequencing, and disable unused outlets.CyberPower Management ConsoleA hardware interface built into Monitored and Switched PDUs. Its functionality includes the ability to switch PDU outlets on and off, reboot connected equipment locally or remotely, schedule power cycling of attached equipment, and perform other tasks, such as load monitoring and event logging.Remote and Local MonitoringEnables offsite and onsite tracking of PDU vitals; provides outlet control for individual and networked clients.Automatic Event NotificationsProvide immediate updates about power events via email, SMS text, or SNMP traps.Upgradeable FirmwareDownloadable improvements (firmware updates) to programs that run the PDU.Digital DisplayProvides easy-to-read information about amperage, voltage, KW, IP address, and other PDU information.Network-Grade Plugs and OutletsHighly durable construction ensures the efficient distribution of power in demanding IT or industrial environments to servers, equipment, and connected devices.Long Input Power CordReaches distant power sources, allowing the PDU to be placed where it’s needed.Cord Retention TraySecures power cords, keeping them organized and accessible. Tripp Lite Switched ATS / Auto Transfer Switch provides a redundant power option for single-corded network devices. Dual input cords support separate connection to PRIMARY and SECONDARY power sources. The ATS will normally maintain continuous output to all outlets as derived from the primary input cable. If the primary power source becomes unstable or fails altogether, the ATS will switch over to the secondary power source until the primary input is restored and stable. Switched PDU features include individually controllable output receptacles and built-in network interface. Super-fast switchover between primary and secondary power sources occurs within milliseconds. ATS functionality is supported by any two compatible AC power sources, regardless of phase angle, to support a variety of advanced redundant power networking applications. Enables fault tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system. In a two-UPS environment, the primary input cable must be supported by a full time sine wave UPS with zero transfer time. Tripp Lite SmartOnline series is highly recommended for use as the primary UPS in a two-UPS application. ATS configurations utilizing separate mains circuits, backup generators and even separate utility power grid feeds are fully supported. On-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both input sources to prevent transfer to the secondary source when unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source. Front input LED's display primary or secondary power availability. - Single phase 20A 120V Auto Transfer Switch / ATS PDU - Enables redundant A/B power option for single-corded network devices - Separate primary & secondary inputs connect to any two compatible power sources - 1U horizontal rackmount; 2 L5-20P / 5-20P inputs; 16 5-15/20R outlets - Individually switched outlets and Built-in network interface for remote control and monitoring; Two digit visual current meter - ATS / Switched PDU with attached L5-20P input power cord - Detachable C19 to NEMA L5-20P 12 ft/3.6m secondary input cord - Two NEMA L5-20R to NEMA 5-20P plug adapters - Installable 1U mounting brackets - User manual with warranty information - 120V 20A Power Distribution Unit (PDU) with Auto-Transfer Switch (ATS) and Switched outlets (Agency de-rated to 16A) - Provides a redundant A/B power option for non-redundant networking equipment with a single input power cord - Switched PDU features enable programmable or real-time power control of individual outlets via built-in network interface - Digital display continuously reports total output power consumption in amps - 16 switched NEMA 5-15/20R outlets - 1U horizontal rackmount form factor; 14.5 in. / 36.8 cm depth - Set of two 12 ft. / 3.6m NEMA L5-20P input cables with set of two 5-20P adapters support connection to separate PRIMARY and SECONDARY inputs - ATS circuits normally maintain output sourced from the primary input cable; As primary input power fails or becomes unstable, the ATS will switch to maintain output sourced from the secondary input cable until power on the primary input is restored and stable - ATS configurations enable fault-tolerant, hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system (in a two-UPS environment, the primary input cable must be supported by an online UPS with zero transfer time similar to Tripp Lite SmartOnline series) - Advanced ATS configurations utilizing separate mains circuits, backup generators and even separate out of phase utility power grid feeds are fully supported - On-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both inputs to prevent transfer to the secondary source when unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source - Super-fast switchover between primary and secondary power sources occurs in 2-7 milliseconds - DHCP/Manual configuration support; Supports HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert Network Management System, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, Telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP, NTP protocols - Compatible with optional ENVIROSENSE temperature monitor - Outlets are factory programmed for sequential turn-on at 250 millisecond intervals as the PDU is first energized - Front panel LEDs confirm power availability on both input lines
